My Story…
It is unbelievable how time flies. It has been 18(!) years since Myriam was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Her courage, strength and positivity during those years of surgery, radiation and chemotherapy still inspires me daily. This is our fifth relay (2008, 2011, 2014, 2017) and she has been the encouraging and dedicated force behind them all. So firstly, I am running this relay for her.
These past years have been filled with such an appreciation for the love and time we get to spend with our wonderful kids, Jack and Juliette. They have brought so much joy (and a little bit of stress lol) to our lives. I am running this relay for them as well.
I am also running for Dr. John Sinclair and his amazing team at the Ottawa Cancer Centre and the Ottawa Civic Hospital. I hope they know that they have been in our thoughts every day throughout these years. Thank you so much.
