Fox River Trail Runners is proud to host She Runs The Fox 5K Run/Walk along the beautiful Fox River. Join us on May 16 at 6:30 pm as we come together for an evening of laughter, celebration, and sisterhood. We encourage women of all ages and abilities to participate!
FRTR will donate $5 per participant registration, together with any participant donations above and beyond registration fees, to Mutual Ground, a great organization providing counsel and support services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. In 2023 your donations, combined with FRTR’s $5 per registrant donation, generated a total of $4,000 for that wonderful charity!
Our Mission – Fox River Trail Runners (FRTR) was founded in 1995 and is a 501(c)(3) Not-for-Profit Corporation whose mission is to promote running as a healthy lifestyle in the Fox Valley Region while also benefiting our community.

Race day registration and packet pick-up: 5:00-6:15 PM at Pal Joey's
Race start: River & Spring Street
5k Fun Run/Walk Starts at 6:30 PM
Must registered by April 28, 2024, to guarantee your shirt/size

- Post-race party at Pal Joey's with post-race food and one complimentary glass of wine/seltzer/beer (participants over 21, of course!)
Course Detail
This is a great 5K course!
- Start at River Street and Spring Street
- Head south to the Fox River bridge/trail along the west side river path
- Cross the river and head south
- Finish near Pal Joey's for the post-race party!
She Runs The Fox - SWAG!
Register by April 28, 2024, to guarantee your shirt size for this great race shirt (women's tank or unisex t-shirt for the youth)! This is what the shirts will look like this year. Note that the women's sizes run a little small, so if you aren't sure go up a size.
Awards
No Medals - this is a fun run but we have prizes. Like last year we will have a number locally donated gift baskets and gift certificates to give away.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of the race will have their choice of a gift basket as their prize!!! Bib numbers will be drawn for the remaining prizes--must be present to win!
All runners 13 and up will receive one raffle tickets. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased at packet pickup
The top 3 youth runners (12 & under) will receive gift certificates to Batavia Creamery. All youth finishers will receive a coupon for a free scoop of ice cream.
