We look forward to hosting you this Saturday at the final race of the Snowball Series. We hope you're ready for a 4 Mile run through beautiful Kirkwood! Be sure to read through this email for important race weekend details.
Please note the early start time for this Saturday's race. This race starts at 7:30am to comply with Kirkwood's permitting requirements.
RACE LOCATION & PARKING: The 4 Mile race begins at 7:30am from St. Louis Community College - Meramec.
PARKING: Parking is available in the STLCC-Meramec west lots. Additional parking is available in the eastern lots, which are a short 1/4 mile to 1/2 mile to Race HQ near the Student Center. Please review the parking map linked below and enter the west campus lots from Big Bend Road, Couch Avenue or Rose Hill Road. Couch Avenue will close at 7:20am for the start of the race. If you must leave before 8:30-8:45am, we recommend parking in parking areas 1 or 2, or in the eastern lots, as areas 3 and 4 will have limited exit access until the race has finished.
SWAG & BIB PICKUP: All swag is now available! If you haven't already picked up your swag, you can do so on race morning inside the Student Center. If you have not yet received your bib or your swag, we recommend arriving closer to 6:30am to avoid long lines. Once you've finished your race, you can proceed to the Student Center and get your swag.
Remember that you will keep the same bib throughout the series, so please remember to use the bib you were given for the last race you participated in. If you happen to misplace your race bib, please check in with registration staff before the race to be assigned a new race bib. If you have not joined us at either of the first two races, check in at the packet pickup tent between 6:30 and 7:30am to get your bib.
CAN'T MAKE THIS WEEK'S RACE?
If you miss a race during the series, you can complete the distance on your own and pick up that event’s medal at any of the remaining races. If you'd like to submit your virtual time, you can do so on the results page, here. *Note that virtual times do not count towards series standings.
COURSE: The 4 Mile course starts and finishes from the STLCC-Meramec lot and features a section through Kirkwood Park and the surrounding neighborhoods. Pets are not allowed on the course.
MEDALS: Finisher medals for this race will given to you just past the finish line. If you missed any of the first 3 races, you can pick up your missing finisher medals on Saturday after the race. Past medals will be at the swag pickup in the Student Center.
RESULTS: Results will be texted to finishers shortly after finishing. We will have series age group awards available at the post-race area. Sometime around 8:30am, once we've had time to update and tabulate the final series standings, we'll open the awards table inside the student center and winners can come get their award there.
Results can also be found here for all races during the series. To earn series points and be eligible for series standings, you must be registered for the entire series.
