The Head Above Water 24 Hour Swimathon is a fun, family-oriented, big-hearted charity swimming challenge in the beautiful saltwater of Collaroy Rock Pool on the weekend of 2nd and 3rd of March 2024.
Over 24 hours, participants are invited to swim as few or as many laps as possible, either alone or in a team.
Can’t make it down to Collaroy Rockpool for the Head Above Water 24-hour Swimathon this year? No problem.

Head Above Water Australia Ltd was founded in response to the high rate of suicide on Sydney's Northern Beaches and the mental health challenges faced by many in the community.
Funds raised go towards mental fitness programs designed to meet our mission of building mental fitness from the grassroots up to help prevent mental illness and reduce suicide across Australia.

Whether you’re based in Cobar or Copenhagen, you can still swim with us in spirit and help raise money to build mental fitness and reduce suicide across Australia. Here’s how: 1. Sign up for the swim here and we’ll send you a free swimming cap. 2. Hit up your network for donations via your fundraising page (check your emails after registering for the link to your personal page). 3. Swim a few (or a zillion) laps in your local pool, ocean, river, preferred body of water. 4. Post your pre, during and post swim experience to your socials and don’t forget to tag us @headabovewater1.
