Help Melissa raise money

Hi Everyone! Over the last year and a half I have found a passion for running. I never saw myself as a long distance runner until I participated in my first 10 mile run in May of this year and loved it! And also realized it was something that I CAN do.

On November 23, I will be running the Philadelphia half Marathon as part of The American Association for Cancer Research's team, Runners for Research. This will be my FIRST half marathon and I am thrilled to be a part of an awesome team and helping them raise money for such an important cause.

Cancer unfortunately has impacted everyone in some way— whether you're a survivor or it has affected a family member, significant other or a friend. My nonny passed away from colon cancer when I was just 4 years old and I have many friends who have lost loved ones to cancer as well.
