My Story…
Everyone is touched by cancer.
Whether it is a close family member or a distant relative, whether it is your best buddy, the neighbor down the street, or a long lost friend from our childhood days--we all know someone who has had cancer.
As a physician, discussing the possibility of cancer is one of the toughest conversations I have with my patients. But now, advancements in cancer research have changed that conversation.
Over the past 25 years I have seen new therapies provide years of cancer free survival. And I am hopeful that with continued research I can say to my patients, my family, and my friends that they have been cured.
