My Story…
Hi all!
On my journey to my first 26.2, I am raising money for the American Association for Cancer Research in honor of my Aunt Julie. My Aunt Julie passed away this past summer after a brave battle with ovarian cancer. We miss her so much and she would think I was a lunatic for running this marathon. I like to think that she will be keeping an eye on me throughout the race...I can hear "Mary Cameron, you are crazy" and the thought of her looking down on me will help carry me. Fundraising for the AACR is my small way of helping find a cure and honoring Aunt Julie and my friends and relatives currently in their own battles. Will you join me in the fight for a cure?
