Our story…
The number 24 has always been special to us. On November 24, 1996, our dad passed away from cancer. His birthday was February 4 (2/4). Anytime the number 24 pops up, we think of him. This year, the Philadelphia marathon falls on November 24, 2024. Zack ran his first marathon on November 24, 2019 in Philly. This year, Sierra will be joining him and running her first full marathon. When our mom, Dawn, found out we were running it together, she decided—without hesitation—it would be her first marathon as well. Our fundraising goal for the American Association for Cancer Research is, of course, $11,024, in honor of Bob Blazer. Please consider donating $24 (or more!) to help us reach our goal.
