Why is it important to support White Cane Walk?
By supporting White Cane Walk, you illustrate your investment in a world where the quality of one’s sight does not determine the quality of one’s life. Funds raised will support the blind and visually impaired community by ensuring they have the tools and training to navigate the visual world. Whether you are supporting White Cane Walk for a loved one or because you are passionate about our mission, your donation makes a tremendous impact on the blind and visually impaired community.

What do the proceeds of this event go toward?
Help us reach our goal of $100,000 in support of Cleveland Sight Center – where we believe the quality of one’s sight does not determine the quality of one’s life. Funds raised will support the blind and visually impaired community by ensuring they have the tools and training to navigate the visual world.
These tools and training include:
- Teaching a family with a baby how to adapt household items and toys to meet developmental milestones
- Ensuring children and adults have the assistive technology they need to succeed in school and work
- Providing low vision exams and training on many technologies and tools that allow individuals to live the lives they want with the vision they have
- Continuing to advocate for a world where the quality of one's sight does not determine the quality of one's life
- And so much more.
Should children be registered if they're attending?
This is a great event for families! Kids will have so much fun with our games, activities and more.
Children 2 years of age and older should be registered for the event. Children under 2 do not need to be registered.
