My Story…
Hello,
Thank you for taking a look at my donation page! I will make this short and sweet, nobody has time these days for a donation essay. On December 1st I will be running in the Seattle marathon, and in the next two months it is my goal to raise $1500, hopefully more, to contribute to the Backpack Brigade.
The Backpack Brigade is a wonderful group in Seattle that provides meals for kids in the Washington state area. I think that no kid should have to worry about their next meal and these volunteers do a heroic job of putting together meals for over 4,500 kids in King County.
A donation of just $7.50 can feed one kid for an entire weekend. If we are able to reach my goal of $1,500, then 200 kids will get to have warm, healthy meals this weekend. I hope to raise far more, but you have to start somewhere.
