Please join us for the 4th Annual Genoa Middle School Glow Run and Walk on Friday, April 12, 2024. Run or walk to benefit the Genoa Middle School PTSA!
The kids run (one lap around the track) will start at 6:45 PM, the 1-Mile Run/Walk will start at 7:00 PM, and the 5K Run/Walk will start at 7:30 PM.
Course Information
All races will begin and end on the track at the back of Genoa Middle School (5948 S Old 3C Rd, Westerville, OH 43082) in Westerville, OH. The
The 5K is an out-and-back course that begins on the track at Genoa Middle School, past Fouse Elementary, to the Genoa/Ohio-to-Erie trail, and then back to the glowing finish line where upbeat music will be playing!
The 1-mile course is the first 1/2 mile of the 5K course and back to finish on the track.
All courses stay off main roads for safety purposes.

The 5K run/walk will be chip-timed and the 1-Mile run/walk is only for fun and NOT chip-timed. For safety purposes, at least one glow item must be worn by all participants and strollers must glow on the front. We also highly encourage you to dress as "bright" as possible or in clothing and makeup that will reflect black light to make it more FUN!

Race Registration
Race registration includes a glow-in-the-dark t-shirt (while supplies last), glow items, a swag bag (while supplies last), and a "glowing" finish line.
Parking
There is parking at Genoa Middle School and Fouse Elementary next door.
Race Day Packet Pickup
Check-in will be located outside the track area where the Glow Run starts and finishes. Check-in begins at 5:30 PM.
Event Timeline
- 5:30 PM - Race day packet pickup begins - there will be entertainment during this time as well!
- 6:45 PM - Kids Run begins on the track
- 7:00 PM - 1-Mile Run/Walk will begin
- 7:30 PM - 5K Run/Walk will begin
- 8:30 PM - Awards presentation
Awards
The first 10 male and female finishers in the 5K will receive a race medal.
All participants will receive a fun glow item to wear during the race.
All 5K and 1 mile participants will have the opportunity to win a raffle prize.
Weather
The event will proceed rain or shine. Please dress appropriately.
