My Story…
On June 20, 2024, my mom passed away from pancreatic cancer just 8 weeks after diagnosis. Her love is forever stamped on my heart.
Winnie the Pooh put it perfectly when he so wisely said, “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”
Over the course of our lives, our mom gave us many gifts that will never stop giving. She showed us strength and resiliency beyond measure, compassion above everything, and what it means to be a truly selfless human in this world. She is our compass and our guidebook, always steering us in the right direction. And that won’t stop.
We aim to make our mom proud, and to carry her torch in loving life, in supporting the loved ones in our lives, and in making a difference wherever we can.
As Ralph Waldo Emerson has said, “The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”
With this event we strive to make a difference. Love you Ma.
