JOIN US IN PERSON OR VIRTUALLY!

THANK YOU TO OUR 2024 SPONSORS
DONATE LIFE TEXAS
Donate Life Texas
Established by the 79th Texas Legislature in 2005, the Glenda Dawson Donate Life Texas Registry allows individuals to record legal consent for organ, eye, and tissue recovery after death. Since then, legislation has created partnerships with the Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) and the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV), which allow individuals to join the registry when applying for or renewing their driver’s license, ID or vehicle registration.
In 2024, the Donate Life Texas Donor Registry celebrated its 15 millionth registration. Donate Life Texas Inc., a nonprofit organization, maintains and operates the donor registry and is governed by a board of directors comprised of the CEOs of the three organ procurement organizations in Texas: LifeGift, Southwest Transplant Alliance, and Texas Organ Sharing Alliance. It is part of the Donate Life America not-for-profit association of national organizations and local partners across the United States, serving as a national voice and inspiring all people to save and enhance lives through organ, eye, and tissue donation.
Register to be a donor at donatelifetexas.org.
BECOME A SPONSOR
We Offer Hope
We are pleased to invite your organization to join these efforts to honor heroes and provide more second chances. Your organization’s financial gifts will support the race logistics, and any additional funds will help finance donor family/recipient meetings and donor memorials. Both of these events pay tribute to the legacy of organ, eye, and tissue donors in meaningful ways.
Thank you for considering how you might generously partner with LifeGift in the efforts to increase the number of lives saved through organ and tissue donation. Please consider sponsoring our 2024 2nd Chance Run events in Houston and Fort Worth!
DONOR REMEMBRANCE YARD SIGNS
New this year - LifeGift wants to honor your loved ones’ lifesaving gifts with our new Donor Remembrance Yard Signs which will be located along the 2nd Chance Run course. There is no charge for this. We will provide you with the blank signs and you can decorate them with your photos, loved ones’ names and words of tribute. We’ll have signs available at packet pick up on September 13th which you can take home and decorate and bring back to the event on Saturday. Or you can pick up the signs at the 2nd Chance Run morning of September 14th and decorate at a table we’ll have set up in the race village. Contact us with any questions regarding yard signs.
