The Valentine Greenway Challenge returns in 2024!
Black Mountain Recreation & Parks (BMRP) is excited to announce that it will be partnering with the Black Mountain Greenways & Trails Committee again in 2024 to present the 2nd Annual Valentine Greenway Challenge on Saturday, February 10, 2024. This race combines the fun and creative spirit of the annual Valentine 5K with the dynamic course and wonderful cause of the Greenway Challenge.
The 2024 Valentine Greenway Challenge will consist of a 5K that begins by the Recreation Offices and goes to Veterans Park via The Oaks Trail. By combining resources, both organizations hope that more funds and awareness may be raised to support the Black Mountain Greenways.
All sponsorships, donations, and 50% of registration fees will be donated back to the Black Mountain Greenways & Trails Committee.
Event Swag
All registered runners will receive a Valentine Greenway Challenge Fanny Pack (black w/ white logo), a pair of sunglasses, and other sponsor-provided promotional materials.
