Raise money for Canada Cares - Canadian Abilities Foundation

Canada Cares is a program of the Canadian Abilities Foundation (CAF), a registered charity dedicated to championing the rights and needs of individuals across Canada. As the sole national organization of its kind, CAF offers support, resources, and outreach initatives to young children, teenagers, adults, and older adults who live with both visible and invisible disabilities, as well as chronic or temporary medical conditions that affect their quality of life.

Our vision is centered on creating a society that inclusive and universally accessible, where all people belong and are valued. We are dedicated to making Canada the most accessible and caring country in the world through advocacy, awareness building, and the sharing of best practice solutions.

Canada Cares celebrates and supports family and professional caregivers. Through our community outreach initiatives and the Canada Cares Awards Program, we honour their dedication and commitment to supporting a loved one and/or caring for those who cannot care for themselves. Our Make Me Smile program further extends our support by providing practical gifts such as bathroom safety equipment, ramps, accessible vehicles, and annual One Wish Awards to caregivers and their families.

Our organization also serves as a hub for information exchange, facilitating a network that connects individuals and organizations dedicated to promoting inclusion and opportunities for individuals with disabilities, their families, and older adults and their caregivers. Our national Caregivers Club offers dedicated news and resources, mentorship, as well as social and online connections to support more than 30,000 caregivers from coast-to-coast.

Thank you for choosing Canada Cares as your charity partner for the 2024 Constantine Yorkville Run. We appreciate your support in helping us continue our mission of championing the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities and their caregivers across Canada.
