The Pinnacles Classic

Many years ago, Peter Holles from the Brookfield Runners initiated this off-road race along the tough course around the Gold Creek Reservoir. The course is 18km long and leads you over 18 serious hills.

Starting life as a small scale friendly race, with a sausage and a beer at the end to refuel the legs, this run has grown into a popular hit-out to test the fitness of locals and the not so locals. While the sausages and beer are no more they have been replaced with bakery goods, fruit, soft drink, electrolytes and water.

This year the race will be run Clockwise.
