Team Cassie + Friends Edmonton

Edmonton, are you ready to step up for kids?

From one dad running in 2007 to the most POWERFUL movement kids and families with chronic rheumatic diseases have ever seen in Canada – we hope you will join us in Edmonton on Saturday, September 14th at Sir Wilfred Laurier Park (Park Site 8) to add one more voice in the fight for more research, awareness, connection, and support for affected kids and families. You can participate with us in-person or join us virtually to raise awareness and fundraise right from your own neighbourhood!

Team Cassie + Friends is a rewarding opportunity to meet other families impacted by rheumatic disease, educate others at school, on sports teams or at work, give back to a community that needs more support and resources, and get active! We will be rooting for you and here to help every step of the way!

Registration cost covers the Team C+F technical running t-shirts, use of fundraising platform, and celebratory cupcakes and beverages.

2024 BIG Announcement! This year we are very excited to announce that your fundraising will be even further amplified as Cassie + Friends has been named as a 2024 charity partner of the Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink. Birdies for Kids is a non-profit program under the Calgary Shaw Charity Classic Foundation, and is an AMAZING way for charities like ours to supercharge our efforts to raise new support for our community and qualify for matching funds up to 50%!!! Day of Schedule:

9:30am - Arrive at Sir Wilfred Laurier Park - Site 7 to check in and pick up your C+F run shirt
10:00am - Opening remarks from Cassie + Friends and warm-up
10:15am - 5K Runners Start
10:30am - 1K Runners Start

Light refreshments and treats will be waiting for you at the finish line!
