Help Cassidy raise money

Lets keep the research & support going for this active little goalie. She needs her knees as healthy as possible to do what she loves!!

As many of you know Cassidy was diagnosed with Juvenile Arthritis back in 2017 at the early age of 20 months. This is something that Cassidy battles everyday. She is often tired or in pain and to control this awful disease she is on some very aggressive medications. These medications are very difficult for her to take, they are hard on her body and often make her feel sick. Watching her go through this continually is not easy. Cassie & Friends has always been a “go to” for our family, their donations are used towards research for safer and more effective treatments, support programs so families can feel less alone on their journey, virtual education through expert-led information sessions educating families across Canada and much more. 

They help ensure that kids don’t miss out on school, sport and friends due to pain and treatments or suffer lifelong disability due to arthritis. They are working towards a future where the need for kids to undergo joint replacements, surgeries and take immune-suppressing medications is eliminated forever.

Team Cassie + Friends is the biggest movement in Canada in support of kids and families affected by Juvenile Arthritis. 

On June 23^rd,2024 we will be walking with Team Cassie + Friends in Ottawa to fundraise for Juvenile Arthritis research and family support programs so that kids can have the pain-free futures they deserve. We are so excited to be stepping up for kids and families just like ours affected by Juvenile Arthritis again this year. We will be walking along side Cassidy’s medical team from CHEO.

Juvenile arthritis is an incurable autoimmune disease in kids that attacks healthy joints and steals childhoods. Kids with JA live with pain, fatigue, fevers, and many require aggressive medications like chemotherapy. 

Let’s add more voices in the fight for more research, awareness, connection, and support for affected kids just like Cassidy and their families.
