Help us raise money

It has been 12 years.  12 years since I received those baby cells and the opportunity to overcome such a horrific disease that takes so many.  I am one of the fortunate ones. I celebrate how far I have come and the obstacles that I have overcome.  I celebrate the nurses, doctors, CNAs, RTs, EMTs, and countless other healthcare workers who allowed me to get to this day.  I celebrate the opportunity to see my children grow up and flourish.  I celebrate those who surrounded me with love, support, and honesty throughout my journey. I celebrate the nurse I am today because of the experiences I have had as a patient.  I celebrate the families that donated their newborn's umbilical cord blood.  I celebrate the military healthcare system that was willing to try options that the civilian world would not consider. But most importantly I celebrate life.
