10th Annual Nun Run
A Charity Race for Denver Sisters of Life!
Join us for a run like Nun other
on September 15, 2024
A 5K run and 1/2 marathon along the scenic High Line Canal, finishing in deKoevend Park. The 1-mile family walk takes place entirely within the park.
Do you support life at all stages from conception until natural death? Do you believe every human being should be treated with the utmost dignity and the respect they deserve? Do you want to see a Culture of Life spread in our country and our world? Then this is the race for you. The Sisters of Life are a religious order who live out this charism of joy and live to serve, protect, and enhance the sacredness of every human life.
The Start/Finish line will be located at deKoevend Park near Shelter B with race day festivities at and between Shelters B & C! Registration and bib pickup will be located near Shelter A - once you've registered/picked up your materials, please join us on the other side of the walking bridge for the festivities! We have the privilege of celebrating Mass in the park with the Sisters at 11AM! Please bring umbrellas, lawn chairs, and/or blankets for your comfort during Mass.

Sisters Of Life - Denver

Founded in 1991 by John Cardinal O'Connor, these sisters have taken not only the three traditional vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience, but have also been called to be consecrated under a special, fourth vow to protect and enhance the sacredness of human life.
Reverence and gratitude for the unique and unrepeatable gift of each human life made in the image and likeness of God fuels the prayer of each Sister in mission to build the Kingdom of God and the “Culture of Life.
This fun and exciting race was inaugurated in 2015 by Shannon Gunning who has since entered into community with the Sisters of Life in New York. All proceeds go to support the Denver Sisters of Life. That's right, all proceeds will go to support, protect, and enhance a Culture of Life through the mission of these awesome sisters.
We look forward to running with you for this fun and exciting race Sunday, September 15, 2024! Invite your family and friends to come together as a community to enjoy the outdoors with the Sisters of Life and help celebrate 10 years of supporting the Sisters and their awesome mission.
