Since its inception, the Manchester Road Race has been a community event dependent on a corps of volunteers who donate their time, energy and enthusiasm to make the Thanksgiving Day event a success. With fields that have numbered between 10,000 and 15,000 runners, nearly 500 volunteers help staff the race each year, donating more than 7,500 hours of their time. They provide a variety of services including coordinating the provision and distribution of bib numbers, seed cards and tee shirts; guiding runners into starting positions and through the finish line; dispensing water; offering first aid; and helping to ensure a safe and orderly race for every participant.
The Manchester Road Race Committee thanks our volunteers.
