2024 Arizona Sunrise Series

The 2024 Arizona Sunrise Series serves as a fundraiser for St. Mary's Food Bank.

In Arizona, food insecurity is a problem 2 million Arizonans are faced with every year. Nearly 30% of our neighbors in need are considered working poor, living on wages that barely cover housing and other basic necessities.

Food Distribution:

St. Mary’s Food Bank distributes food to over 800 partner agencies, covering 81,000 sq miles of Arizona. These agencies include food pantries, dining halls, shelters for the unhoused community, and more.

Children’s Feeding Programs:

One in four children in Arizona lives in poverty and is at risk of going to bed at night hungry. Arizona ranks 47^th out of 50 states in the number of children who may not know where their next meal is coming from. Our vision is to see that no child goes to bed hungry, so they can live healthy and productive lives. In response to these needs, St. Mary’s Food Bank operates programs that fight child hunger, including Kids Cafe® and the Backpack Program.

Children’s Feeding Programs:

We offer two Skills Center Programs: LIFT and Community Kitchen. These programs are meant for those who have employment barriers and gives them the opportunity to gain the skills necessary to get jobs offering livable wages, benefits, and opportunities for advancement through hands-on food service or warehouse training as well as classroom studies.

Every $1 donated provides those neighbors with enough food for 5 meals!

To register by mail please complete and return our Mail-in Registration Form! Please make checks payable to StartLine Racing. Mail-in registrations will be accepted until June 10, 2024.

Custom Series Medal

Custom Medal Add-on for each Series Race You Complete (5 remaining events total)

Custom Event Dri-Fit Racerback Tank Top, Sleeveless Shirt or Short Sleeve Shirt for each of the 5 remaining events

• During registration you will have the option to select one of the following swag packages:
  • One event shirt per each of the 5 remaining events
  • One event shirt plus 1 Free StartLine Racing Entry to a Future 10K, 5K, or 1 Mile Distance (StartLine Racing Event Only)
    • If you select this option you will receive your shirt at the first event. After the completion of the series in August you will be emailed instructions on how to claim your free entry.

Age Group Awards for Top Three in all Age Groups at each live event. There are no age group awards for virtual events. Our age groups are the following:

Real Time Results and Photos on our Website or Mobile App (on Apple and Google)

Pre- and Post-Race "Runner's Brunch" (granola bars, fruit, water, Gatorade, etc)

Main series medal - each location is an attachment that will be earned at each race you complete.

Race Day Registration will be available beginning at 5:30am at each location

We accept cash, and credit cards on race day (Checks are no longer accepted)

• Cost of registration on race day will be $50 for each race

Please note that your shirt size is not guaranteed for those who register on race day.

We welcome wheelchairs, & strollers out on the race course.

No roller blades/skates, skateboards, wagons or motorized devices are allowed on the run or walk courses.

Walkers are welcome!

Leashed pet friendly!

We run rain or shine. There are no refunds or transfer due to weather.

Starting Options

• First, Registration/Check-In will open at 5:30am. From 5:30-6:15am there will be an open start line. Meaning you can start whenever you would like during that time frame.
• Second, we will have a traditional mass start at 6:30am. There will be no option to start after 6:30am.
• You do not need to inform us of which option you are choosing. These options are meant to give you more flexibility of choosing when you start.
