Our story…
A fundraiser near and dear to our hearts ♥️! Although our path is still evolving, we feel compelled to give back and get active in raising funds to support the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundations Mending Little Hearts Fund of Saskatchewan. This fundraiser is helping to raise awareness and funds to support all aspects of cardiovascular care.
Our little Arlo was born this past November with an unexpected heart condition called Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome. We are forever grateful for the support we received in those early days and subsequent months from: Healthy & Home (Public Health nurses), JPCH PEDS emerg staff (including RRTs & many ECG techs), NICU nurses & doctors, the PEDS cardiology team, and our friends & family. Arlo remains on a stable medication management plan and will receive more follow up in the fall. He has continued to grow and develop exceeding all of our expectations.
We welcome you to join our family through online donation (under Team Arlo Stone) or in-person, on September 15th as we partake in the 2024 Heartbeat run/walk 3km walk here in Saskatoon.
