CYCLE THE NORTH WITH US!
Join us in August 2024 as we return to Northern Ontario with a favourite ride showcasing the beauty of Lake Superior and the Lake Huron North Channel. The 2024 GWTA also features our first visit to beautiful Manitoulin Island. We will stay overnight in the communities of Sault Ste Marie, Bruce Mines, Blind River, Massey and Little Current as we ride a fully supported route between Lake Superior and Manitoulin Island. Two-night stays in Sault Ste. Marie and Little Current on Manitoulin Island allow lots of time to explore the waterfront and the history of these fascinating communities both on and off the bike. Please note that the event registration fee supports the charity's work to organize the 6-day event. Roofed accommodation and the charter bus to the ride's start from long-term parking locations are additional costs handled by our travel partner CAA. You may also book your own accommodations. Camping is also available in all communities except Sault Ste. Marie. Learn more about accommodations.
We recommend that when you register for the GWTA, you also purchase Race Roster's Enhanced Protection to refund the registration cost should unexpected circumstances prevent your participation. The Waterfront Regeneration Trust's refund cut-off date is April 30th, 2024. Learn more about the refund program.
