The 5k will be 4 loops (technically 3.2 miles), and the 10k will be 8 loops (technically 6.4 miles). If you register for the 8-hour ultra marathon, the goal is to walk, run, or ruck as many loops as you can in that time frame. The course has a few gentle hills. Temperatures range widely in the first half of November. Over the last few years, November 11th has seen temps from the 30s to the 60s.
AID STATION: There will be 1 Aid Station on the course. Water and Gatorade will be provided. There will also be a nurse and medical supplies on-site. There is a large pavilion nearby where lunch will be served (for the 8-hour participants) mid-day. You can also keep any gear there. For the 8-hour participants, if you are part of a team, or are a solo runner/walker planning to take breaks, then you should bring a chair or blanket to rest on. If you have a canopy/tent that you want to set up, you are also welcome to do so.
