OUR FINISH LINE SAYS ALS DONE!
I am running in memory of my friend, Steve Pickett. He lost his battle to ALS in early 2019. Since then I lost a colleague, Dr. Ed Stack, a wonderful man and a cancer survivor.
Last year, I learned that another dear colleague, Mike Campisano, was diagnosed with Bulbar ALS, an extremely aggressive form of the disease.
I am in this until we can find great treatments with better outcomes for those with this disease.
