My Story…
Hi everyone!
For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Emma! I currently work as a critical care nurse, but in my free time, I enjoy doing CrossFit. On August 17th I will be running the Falmouth Road Race with Massachusetts Vest-A-Dog, which is a non-profit organization that helps dogs by providing essential equipment, funding for training, and bulletproof vests for K-9 officers. My brother-in-law, Officer Ryan Kreidler, who is also our team captain decided to create this race team and represent MA Vest-A-Dog for the first time ever in the road race.
His devotion to create this team and give back to MA Vest-A-Dog stems back to an unfortunate incident in July 2022, when the MA state police lost their K-9 Frankie, who was shot and killed while responding to a call in Fitchburg, MA, making him the first K-9 in MA state police history to be killed in the line of duty. Officer Kreidler not only responded to that call but also tried to save Frankie. He fundraised for months afterward, putting donations towards the creation of a memorial of K-9 Frankie built in Fitchburg, where it stands today.
Furthermore, we all want to prevent situations like this from happening which is why we will be fundraising and running for MA Vest-A-Dog.
This is so much more than a race for our group, and we would all appreciate any donations!
