We are happy to share that with Sean leading our way, we will be running & rolling this August in the 7 mile Falmouth Road Race supporting the Spina Bifida Association of Greater New England (SBAGNE).
Sean was born with spina bifida which is a spinal column neural tube birth defect impacting the spinal cord and central nervous system and causing orthopedic abnormalities and numerous internal organs issues from the brain to the lungs down to the kidneys, bowels and bladder. Complex care is required including a cadre of specialists to cover all of the medical, physical and emotional issues caused by spina bifida.
We have been part of the SBAGNE community since Sean was in preschool and have met so many wonderful families and friends along the way. SBAGNE provides education, programs, resources and support to families and individuals across New England whose lives have been touched by spina bifida.
We are proud to be part of this group and want to do all we can to support all of the incredible work SBAGNE does.
With Sean's determination to finish all 7 miles combined with his positive mindset and "never quit" attitude, we know we will finish the race with big smiles and lots of high-fives!!

This tiny, but mighty, organization does incredible work providing resources, advocacy, education, and community for the estimated 4,400 individuals and families living with Spina Bifida in all 6 New England states. Due to the dedication of all of our runners and rollers, as well as the generous support of our donors, SBAGNE can provide:
- One welcome package to a new family with Spina Bifida ($25)
- One SBAGNE Virtual Program ($50)
- Critical information and resources via e-newsletters to our membership and New England clinics ($100)
- One Empowerment Grant for an individual with Spina Bifida to try a new experience ($250)
- One scholarship to our Regional Education Conference or Spina Bifida Adult Empowerment Weekend ($500)
- Support for one family to attend our Teen Empowerment Weekend or Family Camp Weekend ($1,000)
