Seven years ago, I had the honor of attending Genesis' Comedy Night at the Weston Golf Club. Before the laughter began, a patient took to the stage to share his story. This young man, who was celebrating his 21st, cherished the simplest milestones in life that many of us take for granted — for instance, enjoying his first drink. Learning that he wasn't expected to see his third birthday underscored the vital mission of the Genesis Foundation and the importance of its research and care.     

Through its tireless efforts in research and clinical care, the Genesis Foundation has given this patient and many others like him a chance — a chance to embrace the subtle joys of life that would have otherwise been out of reach. Rare intellectual and genetic disorders present unique challenges when it comes to fundraising, as they affect a small population of children and families. However, the Genesis Foundation offers a lifeline for those affected — a path to a longer, more fulfilling life that we all aspire to lead.

With your generous donations, we can fund critical programs such as The Feingold Service at Mass General for Children, MotherToBaby Massachusetts, various therapeutic initiatives, and essential assistive technology for patients.
