My Story…
This year the Patts ladies are running TOGETHER to honor our favorite lady in the world, our mom, Mary. It may or may not have taking a little convincing to get the whole squad on board, but honoring our mama was a no brainer! We were the luckiest gals getting to have her as our mom, and our best friend. We miss her laugh, hugs and dance moves on a daily basis. We are honored to run and raise money for Empower, to help support kids and young adults who are going through parent loss.

Join me in supporting Empower by helping me raise money as I take on the 2024 Falmouth Road Race!
Empower is an international nonprofit with a very specific mission — to empower, support, and connect children and young adults (up through age 24) who have experienced the loss of a parent. Empower provides events that remind children they are not alone in their grief, and a unique one-on-one mentor program with positive role models from the community who help teach, “loss is survivable.”
Cara was nine years old when her mother Kit died of breast cancer and formed Empower as a grassroots movement out of the gratitude she had for all the layers of support her family received growing up. Empower operates with a lean staff and thousands of volunteers from across the globe and all programs remain at no charge to the family.
