Welcome, and thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
In April 2022, my husband was diagnosed with ALS, a disease that has no cure at this time. Over the course of the past 23 months, CCALS has supported our family mentally, emotionally, and financially. CCALS provided assistive equipment that allowed my husband to remain comfortable and receive the care he needed. The staff at CCALS are extremely knowledgable and genuinely care about the families they work with.
We are fundraising for CCALS so that other families who become a part of the CCALS community are able to acquire the necessary equipment they need in order to provide a comfortable lifestyle and provide access to assistive equipment.

Description
CCALS offers an innovative and holistic range of services tailored to meet the needs of individuals with ALS and their families. The services we offer are typically not covered by insurance. CCALS works with families in New England, across the United States, and internationally. The organization provides resources including equipment, educational workshops, Medicaid assistance, guidance and awareness in living with ALS, caregiving, and end-of-life issues. All funds raised through the Falmouth Road Race go directly to assisting families with ALS.
