My Story…
My first encounter with the Genesis Club was in August of 2023 when they gave me a tour of their facility and explained what they are all about. Genesis Club is a serious mental health community center, or as we call it, a clubhouse. Members of Genesis Club run the clubhouse and rebuild a sense of purpose and belonging through their work. Members are supported in their pursuit of returning to work, finding stable housing, returning to school, and building healthy social connections. In summary, the Genesis club is a community of people working to better themselves and those around them.
That is something I will always support.
When I heard Genesis Club was looking for a runner I immediately volunteered, and am honored to represent them at the Falmouth Road Race.
