Here's my story ...
My name is Max Reinhardt, and as many of you know I have had a severe dairy allergy for my entire life. I attend the College of the Holy Cross, where I am majoring in Biology on the Pre-Med track and am a member of the Men's Rugby Team.
I am excited to be running the Falmouth Road Race this August to help raise awareness of food allergies and funding for food allergy research. Much has already improved in these regards, but there is still a long way to go so that people with allergies can live without constant worry of something happening.
In my first month of college, I had an accidental exposure which resulted in anaphylaxis and a trip to the emergency room. I know that this is not an uncommon occurrence for people with allergies, and is a fear for many kids and parents. Funding for the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America can help to improve these types of situations, and prevent accidents like these, or worse, from happening to others in the future.
Thank you in advance for a donation! They are very appreciated.
