My Story…

With this being the 5 year anniversary of Liesl/our mom's passing the one thing we have not done yet that we believe she would love to see is all 3 of us running the road race together. We have had a strong connection to Tommy's Place since day one. Liesl believed in Tommy's place mission during its very early stages. Unfortunately she passed away before being able to see it evolve into something that has had such a positive impact on so many. We look forward to running the 7 miles together this summer in her memory. We miss her but her legacy of kindness and giving back will be with us forever. As always, any donation is appreciated.

Tommy's Place Opens Second Location!!

Tommy's Place owns and operates two 10+ bedroom year-round magical vacation homes for kids fighting cancer.  The homes are located in Falmouth and Centerville on Cape Cod. One family at a time, along with their extended family and friends, visits for a one week, free of charge, dream vacation to relax, make memories and most importantly have FUN!

Tommy's Place homes are equipped with inground swimming pools, game rooms, movie theatres, home taverns, arts + crafts rooms, music rooms, chef's kitchens, and much, much more.  A magical experience for the entire family! 
 
Since opening in July of 2021, over 175 families have vacationed at one of the Tommy's Place homes. In 2024, Tommy's Place will begin to offer magical vacations to 104 families per year at its two vacation homes. Tommy's Place receives guest referrals from 11 New England children's hospitals and all families are placed through a lottery system. Guests are aged 3-17, actively being treated for pediatric cancer, and living permanently and full-time in New England.
