My Story…
Now 13 years being cancer-free, one of the most grateful experiences from my battle was my wish to travel to Alaska with my family, granted by Make-A-Wish Massachusetts & Rhode Island. This chapter has become a cause I've devoted my life to giving back and supporting. This year marks my third time running the Falmouth Road Race for team MAW, raising money to ensure that every eligible child can have their wish granted, just like mine was.
In Massachusetts and Rhode Island alone, this chapter grants over 400 wishes a year and the average cost of a wish is $12,500. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps ensure the future of these life-changing wishes. Thank you for supporting me and, more importantly the children and families impacted by Make-A-Wish!
Description
Together, we create life-changing wish experiences for children with critical illnesses. Every year, approximately 500 Massachusetts and Rhode Island children are newly diagnosed with a serious illness and newly eligible for a wish. Our ultimate goal is to grant wishes for every medically eligible child in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
