My Story…

This August we will be running the Falmouth Road Race for Tommy’s Place for the second year in a row! We were so lucky to get the opportunity to run for such a special place last year and cannot wait to do it again. Tommy’s Place is a vacation home for children battling cancer and their families to go and enjoy some much needed time together. We were able to witness the joy and relaxation this home brings first hand when our best friend Priscilla Bonica was able to spend the week there with her family in February of 2022. Last June, Priscilla passed away after a nearly 3 year battle with brain cancer. She was the strongest and most resilient soul and we will be running in her honor to raise funds for other children and families to receive this amazing opportunity, any donation is so greatly appreciated. Tommy's Place Opens Second Location!!

Tommy's Place owns and operates two 10+ bedroom year-round magical vacation homes for kids fighting cancer.  The homes are located in Falmouth and Centerville on Cape Cod. One family at a time, along with their extended family and friends, visits for a one week, free of charge, dream vacation to relax, make memories and most importantly have FUN!

Tommy's Place homes are equipped with inground swimming pools, game rooms, movie theatres, home taverns, arts + crafts rooms, music rooms, chef's kitchens, and much, much more.  A magical experience for the entire family! 
 
Since opening in July of 2021, over 175 families have vacationed at one of the Tommy's Place homes. In 2024, Tommy's Place will begin to offer magical vacations to 104 families per year at its two vacation homes. Tommy's Place receives guest referrals from 11 New England children's hospitals and all families are placed through a lottery system. Guests are aged 3-17, actively being treated for pediatric cancer, and living permanently and full-time in New England.
