Support CCALS!
Compassionate and caring are two words anyone who knows my Aunt Tricia would use to describe her! If you know her as Aunt Bunny, you see her as those things plus so much more, such as charismatic, cheeky, calming, and a constant in your life, to name a few! I can say without a doubt she can make each one of her ten nieces or nephews belly laugh so hard that tears roll down our faces. She brings an insurmountable amount of joy to everyone in her life! We all love her so much! In 2002, she was diagnosed with ALS. She may be one of the very few people I would run 7 miles for!
I am running in the Falmouth Road Race this August with a team made up of her friends and family to raise as much awareness and funding as humanly possible for
ALS, more specifically, Compassionate Care ALS(CCALS).
CCALS is an incredible organization, one of which provides tremendous resources for so many living with ALS and to their families.
Welcome to Casey’s Clamshell’s CCALS Falmouth Road Race fundraising page!
Thank you for being here!
Casey’s Clamshell’s say what?
We are just a fun group of individuals on a mission to raise as much awareness and funding for ALS as humanly possible over the next several months, ending in an epic 7-mile road race on August 18th! Wow. That was a mouthful.
In short, Casey’s Clamshells are providing you with a truly worthwhile opportunity to show your support for those living with ALS and for the continued research to find a cure. All proceeds go to the incredible organization of people at Compassionate Care ALS. CCALS works tirelessly to help improve the lives of those living with ALS and to offer support for the caretakers, family, and friends of those directly affected.
For those of you who may not know, Tricia Casey, an irreplaceable friend, wife, sister, aunt, great aunt, godmother, and world’s best pet Mom, was diagnosed with lower motor neuron ALS on March 4, 2022. She continues to carry the insurmountable weight of the disease with grace and dignity, all while keeping a positive attitude and living life to its fullest, never taking a day for granted. To know her is to love her, so let’s kick some fundraising ass for a cause near and dear to our hearts and in honor of all those living with ALS.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your consideration in supporting our mission of hope and keeping the faith strong.
Love,
Casey’s Clamshell’s
