My Story…
This summer I will be running the Falmouth Road Race with an organization that has had a positive impact on me professionally and personally. As a speech and language pathologist providing therapy to adults, I encounter individuals with various diagnoses, especially brain injuries.
However, back in October 2023, brain injury became more than something I treat as part of my job. My friend, Liam, sustained a traumatic brain injury from a life-altering accident. We are so thankful that Liam is on the long road to recovery and receiving rehabilitation and making progress each day. Without organizations like BIA-MA, support for individuals with brain injuries and their families would not be existent. I am so thankful to be a part of the BIA-MA team this year and raising money for an organization that means so much to me.
Description
Thank you for coming to my page to make a donation toward my efforts to support the Brain Injury Association of Massachusetts (BIA-MA)!
The BIA-MA strives to create a better future for all those affected by brain injury. The purpose of the organization is to educate the public on the risk and impact of brain injury, to promote programs that educate and prevent those injuries, to advocate for improved legislation, and to offer support and resources to persons with brain injuries and their caregivers and families.
Together, we are the VOICE OF BRAIN INJURY!
