Help Gianna raise money

I am beyond excited to share that I am going to be running in The Falmouth Road Race for UMass Memorial Health Cancer Center! For those not familiar, it is a 7-mile seaside road race from Woods Hole to Falmouth on Cape Cod, first established in 1973. I was honored to have been offered the opportunity to run this iconic race with a charity bib supporting a place so special to me. 

From my first volunteer experiences at UMass back when I was 16 years old, to my nursing clinicals and doctoral education here for the past 4 years, to now being granted the opportunity to work my dream job here as an oncology Nurse Practitioner, UMass has notably been a big part of my life. Being an oncology NP then became even more significant to me when my aunt was diagnosed with metastatic cancer and treated over the past year, battling her diagnosis with the utmost strength and hope. 

I am grateful for the opportunity to be able to represent the UMass Memorial Health Cancer Center in this race, where I have the chance to give back to UMass--a place that provides endless compassion, devotion, and care to those with cancer. 

This one is in memory of you, Marilyn.
