My Story…
Hello!
Thank you for choosing to help me raise the much-needed funds for MSPCA!!
I am Bharath Miriyam, a physician from India and a Master in Public Health Student at the Boston University School of Public Health. I am an avid Dog lover (no hate against Cats though :) ) and supporter of MSPCA-Angell.
Every year, 400,000+ dogs and other animals are euthanized at shelters, due to lack of funding and personnel to take care of them. Providing quality care to those in need has always been one of the principal driving factors behind MSPCA-Angell.
MSPCA is a national and international leader in animal protection and veterinary medicine and provides direct hands-on care for thousands of animals each year. Since its founding in 1868, the MSPCA-Angell has worked to relieve suffering, prevent cruelty, and develop a just and compassionate society. Although these goals remain constant, societal change, technological advancement, and growth in human understanding dictate continual re-evaluation and redefinition of their implications for our work.
The cost of maintaining an operation as large as the MSPCA-Angell has been super difficult of late and we are requesting your support to raise the funds required to keep them running and providing services and research to our furry friends.
Thank you
Bharath Miriyam
