Help Nicole raise money

Greetings Family & Friends, 

This year I will be running the Falmouth road race, with my husband, Frank, in honor of the Courageous Parents Network (CPN). CPN was referred to our family by the Palliative Care Team at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, during one of our stays for our son Matthew. 

Matthew was born with several cerebral anomalies. These anomalies have impacted every aspect of Matthew’s life. Diagnosed with microcephaly, complete ACC, polymicrogyri, spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, and a severe form of epilepsy, Lennox Gastaut Syndrome… Matthew has suffered and as his parents we never imagined the amount of grief and the constant challenges parents and families like ours face. 

 CPN has been a tremendously important resource and a space of comfort and support during some very difficult and challenging days for our family. We are forever grateful for the amount of knowledge, insight, empathy, and SOLID support CPN has given us. It is OUR honor to support, fundraise, bring awareness, and run for this network of INCREDIBLE children, parents, siblings, extended families, and providers.
