My Story…
I am raising money and running for the Glen Doherty Memorial Foundation. Glen Doherty was a Navy SEAL, sniper, and private security contractor who died in the Benghazi attack in 2012.
GDMF was established to help ease the transition from military to civilian work for the Special Operations Community through scholarships and support.
My family and I have been running the GDMF memorial road race in Glen's hometown, Winchester, for many years and we consider it one of our favorite traditions. I have been running the Falmouth almost every year since 2012, so it only made sense to combine GDMF with my yearly run! I am honored to be running for Glen's memory and the scholarship recipients of GDMF.
