Welcome to my 2024 ASICS Falmouth Road Race Page!
As a kid, I would always watch my dad run at the Falmouth road race but was never able to run with him. Four years ago my dad was diagnosed with glioblastoma which is an aggressive terminal brain cancer. His diagnosis never stopped him from running every day whether it was with his children or by himself. He ran multiple marathons, including the Boston Marathon. He and my mom ran the Falmouth Road race when they first started dating and my dad continued to run until the time of his diagnosis. After his first surgery in June 2019, he waited six weeks to the day when he had the green light to go for a run. And he did. He was never able to run Falmouth again as he passed in August 2021, but it is my honor to carry on my dad’s legacy and run in his place. 100% of the money goes to the National Brain Tumor Society to help prevent and cure diseases like GBM.
Thank you for your support!
