Support. Inspire. Empower.
Hi there!
My name is Olivia Leon and I currently reside in Dorchester, MA. Friends and family know I was an avid runner in high school and college but have seen me struggle to get back into the sport these past few years.
This August, I am running in my first ever Falmouth Road Race in support of the Herren Project. This nonprofit organization provides resources, guidance, and support services to individuals and families battling addiction. The journey to recovery is a daily fight, but when we work together, we are stronger in the battle. The Herren Project’s ongoing work in preventing substance misuse, celebrating recovery, and promoting a healthy lifestyle continue to make a positive impact in communities and lives nationwide, no matter where one is at on their journey. Having lost friends to addiction, my fiancée’s father losing his battle 2 years ago and having a family member struggle with this disease has inspired me to get my running shoes back on and run for the Herren Project.
Please consider donating towards my goal of $1,500 to support the individuals and families receiving services provided by this amazing organization! Thank you for taking the time to read my message and I greatly appreciate all of the support :)
