My Story…
Hi! I am excited to be running my first Falmouth Road Race and will be running to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. I am a nurse who works in pediatric oncology and has seen the fantastic things Make-A-Wish has done for kids I have cared for. These children have impacted my life and are a huge reason I got into running. They have also taught me so much about resilience, strength, and bravery. This foundation brings joy, hope, and excitement to children with chronic illnesses. Please consider donating to help create a wish come true; each donation is greatly appreciated.
Description
Together, we create life-changing wish experiences for children with critical illnesses. Every year, approximately 500 Massachusetts and Rhode Island children are newly diagnosed with a serious illness and newly eligible for a wish. Our ultimate goal is to grant wishes for every medically eligible child in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
