Hello family, friends and colleagues! I am proud to share that I am running the 2024 Asics Falmouth Road Race on Sunday, August 18th to support the Alzheimer's Association! I have seen the devastating effects of this horrible disease first hand. As you may or may not know, my beloved, amazing, kind and hard-working Dad, Jim Erickson,  was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in August of last year. He is doing well and has access to the best doctors in the northeast, but the diagnosis of Alzheimer's has been heartbreaking for him and everyone who loves him.  He is our rock, has always gone above and beyond for everyone and the heart and soul of our family. He's  worked hard his whole life and it is just awful that this is happening to such an incredible person. 

I run to honor him  and all of those affected. Currently there are more than 6 Million Americans living with Alzheimer's and over 11 Million people providing unpaid care for them. This disease will cost the US over $345 Billion in 2024. It kills more than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined. These facts, and more, are staggering.
