I'm running the 52nd ASICS Falmouth Road Race for the Joe Andruzzi Foundation
This is my 4th year running the Falmouth road race in honor of sweet Laurel Pearl Bares. She was just 2 years old when she lost her battle to Neuroblastoma. By running every year I hope to keep Laurel’s memory alive and hopefully raise more money for families who are also battling cancer.
Description
JAF is committed to providing assistance to patients of all ages, any cancer, throughout New England who are struggling financially due to a cancer diagnosis. JAF understands that everyday living expenses don’t stop because of a diagnosis, and JAF provides various programs to help patients make ends meet. Because patients and families must often devote all their energy and resources toward treatment, the Foundation helps alleviate financial and emotional stress by providing grants to assist with rent/mortgage, transportation to treatment, food, and more. Through our Assistance Programs and Wellness Assistance, the grant recipients can focus on their cancer treatment and not the financial distress that comes with it.
Thank you in advance for your support!
