I am proud to share that I am running the 2024 Asics Falmouth Road Race, for the first time, to support the Alzheimer's Association!

My experience with Alzheimer’s began when I was a toddler. My grandmother was the first person I knew with Alzheimer’s, though I didn’t know what that meant. When I was about 9, my Aunt Betty was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and I watched her spend the next 12 years battling this disease until she passed. In that time I watched this disease take my Auntie Jan and Uncle Billy away from my family. Currently my Auntie Deb and Uncle Joe are living with Alzheimer’s. That is 6 people in my family that have been diagnosed and battled this disease. I want to live in a world where Alzheimer’s doesn’t exist. I want to live in a world where Alzheimer’s stops taking away my family members. I’m honored to be running Falmouth this year for my family.
