I'm Running the Falmouth Road Race for Team NECC!
This August, I'm embarking on a journey that holds profound significance for me. I'll be running the Falmouth Road Race, not just as a personal challenge, but as a means to support a cause that's deeply dear to my heart – The New England Center for Children (NECC). NECC's unwavering commitment to providing comprehensive services for children with autism resonates deeply with me, particularly because of someone very special in my life: Matthew.
I had the privilege of meeting Matthew around seven years ago, and since then, I've witnessed his incredible journey of growth, strength, and intelligence. Matthew has not only continues to leave an indelible mark on my heart but has also illuminated my path in life. In moments of uncertainty after college, unsure of my direction, Matthew became my guiding light. His presence in my life inspired me to pursue a Master's Degree in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), a field closely associated with the services NECC provides.
NECC's array of services, including day and residential programs, partnerships with public school systems, consulting services, and autism curriculum software for teachers, reflects their dedication to empowering individuals like Matthew to thrive. Matthew's personal journey has underscored the transformative impact of these services, and it's my fervent desire to help shine a light on the incredible opportunities NECC offers.
As I lace up my running shoes for the Falmouth Road Race, I do so not only for myself but for Matthew and countless others like him who benefit from NECC's vital support. Together, Matthew and I aim to raise awareness and crucial funds to ensure that NECC can continue its invaluable work. Every step I take during the race will be infused with purpose and determination, fueled by the knowledge that our efforts can make a tangible difference in the lives of those touched by autism.
I humbly ask for your support as Matthew and I endeavor to raise funds for NECC. Your generosity will enable NECC to continue providing life-changing services and opportunities for individuals like Matthew, empowering them to reach their fullest potential. Together, let's make a meaningful impact and help pave the way for a brighter, more inclusive future. Thank you for joining us on this journey of compassion and support.
