Help Emily raise money

I'm running in Falmouth to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association because I saw firsthand how difficult it was for my family to lose my great grandmother to this awful disease. Apart from the emotional pain of watching one of the strongest women I've ever known, someone I only ever saw smile who loved each and every member of her family so much, fade away into someone I could no longer recognize, I also witnessed many years of sacrifice from my family in taking care of her and my great grandfather, which placed a heavy strain on everyone involved. This disease is horrible and continues to impact more than 5 million people and is the sixth leading cause of death in America alone - with no cure. 

Falmouth specifically has a special place in my heart as one of my favorite spots in New England. If you don't know, Falmouth has a strong community of small business owners and residents that constantly support one another. It is no surprise that the Falmouth Road Race has been a successful and incredibly charitable event year after year.
